My thoughts on Israel’s Memorial Day (Yom Hazikaron) and Independence Day (Yom Ha’atzmaut which passed this year. I also mention Tommy Robinson on the MEP campaign trail and the ongoing online censorship travails.

I also talk about the Sue Facebook (and Google) project, more details here.

Telegram is where we’re at for Tommy Robinson, Sargon of Akkad, Alex Jones, Laura Loomer and other digital refugees

Now we have to see how long before Treason May in the UK and the various forces of Mordor in the USA, marshalled by Dark Lord Soros, call for Apple and Google to remove the Telegram App from their app stores?

Tommy Robinson Telegram 40,000 subscribers.

I had a feeling we’d see a movement to Telegram. I had seen it in use by some groups and when Tommy Robinson’s and my primary Facebook account were deleted in February I set up my channel and Tommy’s. It took a while to get him using it but once he did, the growth was astonishing. Despite the initial scepticism of Lizzie Dearden of the Independent not thinking his fans were “young” enough to figure it out. Obviously we’re nudging 40,000 subscribers now!

Yes, I did call the channel “Tommy Robinson’s Friends of Zuck” because I set it up the day that Zuckerberg’s Facebook minions erased Tommy’s page: at that time probably the largest and most active political page in the UK.

This list was not compiled by me. I don’t know everybody on it, I don’t endorse all their views. I’m not interested in hearing that they’ve ever said something you don’t like or they hold views and opinions you think I shouldn’t like. See note at the end.

Telegram channel list as compiled by Alternative News (thanks!)

I don’t vouch for their content though I do recognise most of them. If any of them:

  • are actual Nazis and parade around in the uniforms of the Third Reich or wave Swastikas;
  • you can send me well documented evidence of very obvious Jew hatred;
  • show me evidence of views derived from Culture of Critique that the “Jews control the media/banks/world”
  • evidence of theories derived from the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (similar to above);

then I’ll think about taking them off my list. Even then I’ll think twice. As much as I abhor those things I’ve listed, in these days of extreme censorship I’m a free speech extremist. You can find Louis Farrakhan on your own without any help from me, however.

I trust Facebook with my money the same way I trust them with my private information

Which is to say I don’t trust Facebook with anything.

Facebook went full facist this week banning more overwhelmingly conservative voices. I lost my account back in the Tommy Robinson purge over a month ago. My Brian of London Page was deleted while I was in London last week. I don’t want Facebook controlled or regulated, I want Facebook destroyed. I don’t believe regulation, even along the lines Will Chamberlain eloquently lays out, within the framework of the USA’s 1st Amendment, will work.

I want Facebook destroyed. Raheem Kassam gets it, also at Human Events:

This is a civil rights issue, and I do not say it with a semblance of hyperbole.

What is happening to conservatives or nationalists is as important as what happened to Soviet-era dissidents.

Book ‘burning’ is already a thing.

The gulags do not follow far behind.

Bret Stephens in the New York Times (in a condescending piece as usual making clear to denounce those whose free speech he’s begrudgingly defending) has one bright paragraph:

The deeper problem is the overwhelming concentration of technical, financial and moral power in the hands of people who lack the training, experience, wisdom, trustworthiness, humility and incentives to exercise that power responsibly.

Put simply Facebook and Google are individually and jointly too powerful to be run by those accidentally chosen to be running them. Arguably there isn’t a method of governance known to man which could safely control such power.

There are now a number of very credible reports that Facebook is gearing up to launch its own crypto currency for people to use within Facebook’s walled garden. You’ll be able to “buy” into Facebook’s own currency then send and receive crypto money with friends and, I’m sure, buy goods and services from hungry vendors.

Wall Street Journal report says Facebook is recruiting dozens of financial firms and online merchants to help launch a cryptocurrency-based payments system with each staking up to US$1B. If the company can convince five partners to join them that would make Facebook’s coin one of the five most valuable coins by market capitalisation instantly based on current valuations.

Facebook has a team of about 50 boffins working on the project which is housed in a secured wing at Facebook HQ according to reports.

All the while, Facebook will take a cut of all transactions: 1% 2% or more. We don’t know their fee structure: they’ll be competing with the entire global credit card and payment processing industry and cracking the legs out from under giants like PayPal and their younger competitors. They’ll enter the field with gigantic scale. And I and many other wrong thinking people are ideologically banned from this field of commerce before it even exists.

But what’s really interesting is only one year ago, Facebook declared almost any business considering using the same technology that underlies their crypto-currency (the “blockchain”) is likely to be a scam business and too dangerous to be allowed to advertise on Facebook. Google imposed an identical ban at roughly the same time.

Here’s the effect those advertising bans had on a crypto based social media site and crypto currency called Steem which is a decentralised Facebook replacement and therefore a direct competitor.

Across all the entire blockchain and crypto industries the damages run to hundreds of billion of dollars!

Just so you understand the difference though, I can send and receive Steem to anyone for FREE. No FEES. Facebook will be charging fees somewhere for sure. That’s a feature of crypto currencies but it’s the one Facebook will exploit to make money from you. They’ve already had years selling your private information and your posts, now they want real cash from you.

Advertising ban effect on the price of Steem
Advertising ban effect on the price of Steem: across all the entire blockchain and crypto industries the damages run to hundreds of billions of dollars.

Facebook is too dangerous to exist: it is the culmination of a century of dreams by totalitarian dictator musing on how to better spy on and control their populations. That so many willingly submit their most private thoughts to this monster in return for its “features” is a shame of our civilisation.

Fly drone and tell me more about the New York Times

Over at Israellycool I’ve posted my latest drone chat. I gave a quick description of the process of syndication, how it compares to the entire news wire business (something I’ve spoken and written about quite a bit) and why that cartoon is really such bad news.

My friend had this to say about my thoughts on Jew hatred in the video:

Jews need to stop thinking governments have the answers

Writing another article for Israellycool about the now infamous New York Times Netanyahu as a dog cartoon, my blood boiled over the following statement from Danny Danon, Israel’s UN Ambassador:

The only way to stop antisemitism is to criminalize it, Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon told reporters in New York on Monday.

“The time for talking and having a conversation is over,” Danon said. “What Israel and the Jewish community around the world demands is action and now.”

Danon, speaking on the sidelines of the United Nations Security Council meeting said that those who engage in antisemitism “must be punished, whether it is here at the UN, political leaders, editors, policy pundits, or college professors, it does not matter.

“Antisemitism should have no place in our society,” he continued. “Until it becomes criminal, this bigotry will persist. It will fester. It is only a matter of time until it erupts again in violence and bloodshed.”

When has criminalising something ever stopped it?

What a lunatic statement. When has criminalising something ever stopped it? Has criminalising prostitution ever stopped prostitution? Has criminalising drugs ever stopped drug taking? Did criminalising alcohol stop drinking? Did criminalising dissent against USSR stop dissent? It was criminal to hide Jews in Europe in Nazi occupied Europe, people still did it!

I wish people (and especially fellow Jews) would step away from the belief that legislation and government enforced laws are the answer to every problem.

We can’t stop people holding Jew hating views or spreading and believing lies (specifically crafted in most cases) to engender Jew hatred. All we can do is make holding these views socially unacceptable. Ostracise those who hold them and use ridicule too.

We’ve done this to Neo-Nazis and the so-called far-right but we’ve allowed Islamic Jew hatred and far-left Jew hatred (which disguises itself as anti-Zionism) to fester and now explode. Our efforts are massively hampered by the far-left control of the media and various hate filled NGOs (like SPLC in the US or Hope not Hate in the UK) calling any political position they don’t like “far-right”.

Our efforts are also hampered by the ridiculous overuse of the term “antisemitism” (while trying to ignore real antisemitism) and by the false equivalence of the new term “Islamophobia” with Jew hatred. Criticism of the ideology of Islam is vital for our civilisation: hatred of individual Muslims is abhorrent. The fact that the term “Islamophobia” deliberately conflates something necessary with something abhorrent renders that term maliciously dangerous.

“And yet these actions have gone unpunished,” Danon said. “I have not seen the NYT [hold] any one accountable for this horrible cartoon. When you have pictures, cartoons, words, demonstrations, it leads to violence and shootings.”

Now I do agree that when a significant cultural icon such as the New York Times publishes a cartoon that displays so many elements of Jew hatred they should be denounced and look very carefully at the specific staff who published that article. I am all for firing people if they are prone to believe and spread lies about Jews: they can go edit Stormfront magazine for the Nazis, not the New York Times.

We can’t legislate thoughts as a crime, we can only stop actions. We can’t change minds with laws.
